The tactile is to be installed on pedestrian passage to provide greater access for the vision impaired people. its ideal for both indoor and outdoor, and venues like nursing home / kindergarten / community centre.

The blind track should be set in the following range:

1 The sidewalks of the urban main roads, secondary roads, city and district commercial streets and pedestrian streets, as well as the sidewalks around large public buildings;

2 City squares, bridges, tunnels and sidewalks of grade separation;

3 Pedestrian access in office buildings and large public buildings;

4 Entrance area of urban public green space;

5 At the entrances of pedestrian bridges, pedestrian underpasses, and barrier-free facilities in urban public green spaces, there should be blind trails;

6 Building entrances, service desks, stairs, barrier-free elevators, barrier-free toilets or barrier-free toilets, bus stations, railway passenger stations, platforms of rail transit stations, etc. should be provided with blind tracks.

The classification of blind passages should meet the following requirements:

1 Blind tracks can be divided into two categories according to their functions: 

1) Traveling blind track: strip-shaped, each 5mm above the ground, can make the blind stick and the sole of the foot feel, and it is convenient to guide the visually disabled to walk straight forward safely.

2) Prompt the blind track: It is in the shape of dots, and each dot is 5mm above the ground, which can make the blind cane and the soles of the feet feel, so as to inform the visually disabled that the spatial environment of the route ahead will change.

2 Blind tracks can be divided into 3 categories according to materials

1) Precast concrete blind bricks;

2) Rubber plastic blind track board;

3) Blind channel profiles of other materials (stainless steel, polychloride, etc.).
